Cut to size
Supply finished dimensions, quantities, thickness, grain direction and tolerances for every component. Agree the cutting list and account for edge banding in the finished dimensions.
PROCESSING / OEM CABINET PARTS
Define the machining and packing scope for cabinet components sourced from China. Send client drawings, a component list or BOM so materials, processing stages and acceptance criteria can be reviewed together.
Processing scope
Supply finished dimensions, quantities, thickness, grain direction and tolerances for every component. Agree the cutting list and account for edge banding in the finished dimensions.
Identify the edges to treat, edge material, thickness, colour and corner finish. Discuss PUR or laser edge banding where appropriate; compatibility with the selected board and edge system must be confirmed.
Provide hole diameters, depths, positions, datum references and hardware models. Confirm machining files, face orientation and critical tolerances before processing.
Show groove width, depth, length and position on the drawing, including back-panel or assembly requirements. Confirm that the board and component dimensions suit the machining detail.
Define component IDs, cabinet or unit numbers, drawing revision and label location. Match labels with the approved BOM and packing list for identification at receiving and assembly.
Client drawing → BOM → Processing
Send drawings with units, revision number, dimensions, construction details and hardware references. Resolve unclear dimensions and machining references before approving the scope.
Agree materials, finishes, edging, machining operations and quantities for each part. Align component IDs with cabinet or project unit numbers.
Confirm cutting and machining files, sample or first-part review where required and inspection criteria for dimensions, holes, grooves and edge appearance.
Reconcile quantities, labels and packing list against the approved BOM. Agree protection and shipment grouping before dispatch.
Assembly and project supply
For ready to assemble cabinet components, specify the joint system, hardware schedule, hole layout and assembly references. Define whether hardware and instructions are included or supplied separately. A component order does not automatically include a complete cabinet kit.
Discuss packing by cabinet, room, installation zone or project batch. Agree component grouping, labels, bundle limits, protection and packing lists for receiving and assembly.
OEM cabinet parts are reviewed against client drawings and agreed specifications. For ODM support, share the functional brief, target construction and material preferences so proposed details can be reviewed and approved.
Inspection and export
Define finished dimensions and tolerances, squareness, drilling positions, groove dimensions, edge bond and visible surface criteria. Confirm inspection records or first-part approval requirements in the RFQ.
Specify surface separators, corner and edge protection, cartons, pallets or crates as relevant, moisture protection and handling marks. Confirm destination requirements, loading format and required packaging documentation.
Available specifications vary by product and project requirements. Material compatibility, machining scope, component dimensions and packing arrangements require review.
